Oh, do I blog?

Its been so long, I hardly feel like I know where to start! The year is closing in on us, soon it will be 2011. Alister and I have agreed not to spend big money on expensive family photos until our family is complete (roll on June 19, when our third Swan is due to join us) so we tend to cope with candid ones on our camera, when we can be bothered to sit down with the timer. It's getting harder and harder to do now that we have a toddler who has a very strong will of his own! This family portrait was snapped in between a tantrum, and in a hurry, to put into a birthday book we made for Alister's mum, who just turned 60. I think it turned out ok.

The kids keep me occupied for a good part of the day. Ashley is very interested in all the things Wyatt gets up to and is starting to want to play alongside him. Once she's mobile I think they will have great fun together. Wyatt has stopped hitting her so often and instead tries to feed her, give her a bottle, and his bears. He's ready for Ashley to hang out and play too! For now, he amuses himself in many different ways. This week, his obsession is to take off all his clothes and climb into the bucked full of cold water. Tip the bucket out, get mum to re-fill it (this repeats numerous times until mum says no more) and climb back in.

So that's us for now! We are off to America tomorrow so I better get off the computer and finish packing!
