5 minutes to burn...

Wow! I can't believe its April already. I've got a spare 5 minutes waiting for playcentre to start and Ashley to wake up from a nap that I thought I'd load some of this week's moments.

Helping make apple-cinnamon muffins

Taking over Ashley's headbands

Sharing his snack with his friend, Grace (notice the new chainsaw that has followed us around everywhere for days. He slept with it for 2 days!)

A great day for the annual Eltham Cheese Rolling Race (run downhill and try to beat the wheel of cheese). Classic rural activity, right?

Ashley would rather eat than watch the race

Wyatt went through all 3 changes of clothes at daycare and is returned to us as this little hippy in girls clothes
Ashley turns 1 this Sunday, I'm still wondering where this year went? Having a small party on Saturday to celebrate. I am feeling cheated on my time with Ashley after my midwife said to be ready for #3 to arrive anytime from 34 weeks gestation. That's only 4 weeks away. My sweet little girl isn't walking yet so this could prove challenging! The midwife's news has kicked us into high gear of 'nesting', reaching the decision to move Wyatt into the smaller room and leave him by himself since he's such a great sleeper. Little Ash and the newborn will eventually share a room and if Ashley still wakes through the night the newborn will know no different (unlike Wyatt who would suddenly wonder what all the fuss is about). So that means a complete move of two bedrooms and decor that doesn't really match, but oh well. It won't be long before we move up to the bigger house and redecorate anyways. I've been busy trying to complete my latest qualification in early childhood education for playcentre and have been getting more and more involved in the running of the centre (you know me, can't resist getting organized and providing structure where its needed). Better go pack snacks for the day. Bye!
